22 Years On, Still Hooked - MotoGP Silverstone

I started my career 22 years ago photographing skateboarding, back when digital cameras were still a novelty. At an extreme sports festival, I saw FMX for the first time, launching into the air and landing on a huge dirt mound. I was in awe and completely hooked. From that moment, FMX became the focus of my photography.

What began as a passion grew into something more. I got pretty good at it and was lucky enough to travel the world, capturing motocross and freestyle events, and even interviewing some of the sport’s biggest names along the way.

Eventually, life shifted. Kids came along and I needed a steadier income. But every now and then, I dust off the gear and get back to doing what I love.

I was invited to Silverstone MotoGP to shoot an FMX show. Here are a few of my favourite shots from the weekend.
